Don't give up hope! I am a heavy guy (285 lbs) and I got a wonderful woman in my life. I used to think that I needed to lose weight for someone to love me and its BS.
Keep looking the right man is out there for you don't give up hope. Men are a lot more shallow then women IMO so be patient.

About 15% of guys like overweight girls, from what I've read. 85% don't. So if you were average weight, we might say that 5-6 times as many guys would be interested in you. The odds are slightly worse then that though I think, because more than 15% of women are overweight. So 15% of guys have their pick of the overweight girls, while 85% of guys are chasing after less than a smaller pool of women.
Can you find someone at your current weight? Probably. Would you find more people more easily at a lower weight? Probably.
There is nothing odd about people wanting to date only those that they are attracted too. People who think they are being really wonderful by dating someone they don't find attractive are really condemning that partner to a miserable life.
Lose some weight, if you really are overweight. Mostly for yourself, and your health.

Have you tried match.com, eharmony.com, friendfinder or any of those? I know it may sound lame, but I've met guys before from online dating services. People like to rip it on it, but I think it's a much better idea than meeting someone drunk in a bar.
The best thing to do is talk to someone for awhile first, online and on the phone. Then, if you decide to meet, make sure to meet in a restaurant or some other public place and be sure a trusted friend or family member has all the info before you go.
Being overweight certainly does not mean you can't or won't find someone. Trust me -- it's not easy for anyone of any size. Good luck, lady!

you don't need a boy to define who you are..i know that doesn't help, but think about it. start working on yourself and don't think about finding someone..as soon as you do, the right guy will come around. start going to the gym, hanging out with friends, being more outgoing if you aren't already and just put yourself out there. guys are drawn to a girl that can be confident in her own skin. there is a perfect guy out there for you, and although its easier said than done..just don't worry about it and he'll come find you before you know it! good luck sweetie!

Some guys prefer the larger type, especially if they are large too. There is a girl at work who is very overweight but she gives the guys the flirtiest of looks and is very popular with us. Sheer is just comfortable with herself and it shows.

First where do you live?
Cause if you live in a big city it's harder because all the places where you can go to meet man are full of skinny girls my ex girlfriend was heavy , i think that heavy women got more to live for and more to offer be nice to everybody that's the key.
