I live in Charlotte, nc and need to work on my skills with table manners. I am not rude or anything i just want to be impressive and show i have a high class. A resturant where jeans and a t-shirt, is not acceptible. Thanks!!

Good question just observe what the other people do around you.
Keep your voice toned down but still audible.
Say: Please and thank you to the waiter or server.
If you can't read the menu which could be in a different language ask waiter to translate or what do most patrons favor, and request that for a meal.
Above all act yourself, but in a calm and pleasant manner.
A nice black sheath dress with a purple scarf, some pumps, and you'll look great.

Ruth's Chris is always fabulous, if you have one near you. It is an upscale steakhouse... jeans are not acceptable. It is a bit pricey though!
