jews believe they are GOD's chosen people? Where does that leave the rest of mankind?

BTW- I believe in allah, yaweh, and brahman. Have read the quran multiple times and the bible once. Never was baptised nor went to church. Was agnostic and now believe in allah, yaweh, and brahman. They are all the same to me.

whynotaskdon: Totally lost? How do you figure? If you are a believer in GOD, then you are lost. BC for one to even aknowledge the existance of a GOD is mracle enough you a**hole. If you study the aspects of all 3 then you can easily see they are one and the same. I will post a link for the definition of brahman. Allah is nothing more than saying THE GOD which is described perfectly in the quran. Ilah if one wills. And yaweh should be self explanitory. i don't know where all of this jehova bull came from. The only true GOD is the lord GOD of israel(pbuh). That is a description. Now if you give thought, then you can learn the characteristic of that description. ONE. If you read the quran, you will know who allah is. If you read the tanach, you will know who yaweHASHEM) is. If you read the new testament, you will know who the christ is.

"According to the monistic/panentheistic theologies of Hinduism, Brahman (the greater Self or God) is in the highest sense One and nondifferentiated from the world and its beings (hence 'nondualist'). In connoting Brahman's absolutely unparalleled nature, it is also called Parambrahman, where the Sanskrit prefix param- denotes "ultimate". It is also called Paramatma (Supreme Spirit). Beyond time and space, both immanent and transcendant,[11][12] Brahman is often described succinctly as sacchidananda, meaning 'Truth-Consciousness-Bliss'. It not only possesses these qualities but is also their very essence. The Advaita scriptures declare that ultimately Brahman (the impersonal Self/God) is beyond mere intellectual description and can be understood only through direct spiritual experience, where the 'knower' and the 'known' are subsumed into the act of 'knowing'. The goal is to "wake up" and realize that one's atman, or soul, is really identical to Brahman, the uber-soul."-wikepedia

Most have a misconceptuion that hinduism is a polytheistic religion. It is to a sense, but in all due reality it is really monotheistic. Above is the description of the ONE GOD. And the hindus description is just about on point if you ask me. People like vishnu are what they see as reminders from brahman. People like hare krishna.

YOU KNOW. IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THE TRUTH.
I BELIEVE THIS THING IS NOT AS COMPLICATED AS PEOPLE MAKE IT SEEM OF COURSE THERE IS A GOD AND EVERY RELIGION BELIEVES THERES IS THE RIGHT ONE.

MY THEORY IS THIS. IF I HAVE STUDIED MANKIND ENOUGH NOW U SAID U HAVE READ THE BIBLE ONCE. I BELIEVE THAT EVERYTHING THE WORLD DESPISES IS THE OPPOSITE OF WRONG. BECAUSE WE NEVER ACCEPT TRUTH IF THE TRUTH BE TOLD. IF SOMEONE TELLS U OHH HEY YOUR SO FAT! AM SURE MOST PEOPLE WONT ACCEPT IT! EVEN MOST OF THE FAT DONT BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE. SO I THINK THAT MORE THAT ANYTHING THE WORLD IS BEING DECEIVE SO THAT WE CAN SEE AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING BUT THE TRUTH.

-- what People believe, or what God Himself teaches?

What Really Is Hell?
- Life After Death?
- Unending Torment or Common Grave?
- Hellfire--All-Consuming?

God 'divorced' the Jews when they killed his son. This he signified at his death:

"Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit.
Behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. ...
Now the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, "Truly this was the Son of God."" -- Matthew 27:50,51,54.

"At the time of Jesus’ death God expressed his anger by causing the thick, heavy curtain that separated the Most Holy from the Holy Place to be ripped in two from top to bottom. The priests who were carrying on their work in the Holy Place were then able to see into the Most Holy and to have impressed upon them the fact that this compartment contained no Ark representing God’s presence with them. This action by God confirmed that the atonement sacrifices offered by the Jewish high priest were now no longer of value and there was no need for the services of the Levitical priesthood anymore.--Mt 27:51; 23:38; Heb 9:1-15."
(Insight on the Scriptures -- Most Holy)

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! ...
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!
Behold, your house is left to you desolate."
Matthew 23:27, 37, 38 (read also vs 27-36)

"But Christ having come as a high priest of the coming good things, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, ... , not of this creation, nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption. ...
For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance."
Hebrews 9:11,15

My belief is there is no true hell expect for the one we place ourselves through. This does not mean there is not a Spirit. There is. So Mankind in general is okay. Mankind is learning all that is life.

The different religions and rules are the different levels of understanding that we are at in our present life. There is no wrong or right view. There is only lessons that we are a part of no matter what we believe. Our goal while we are here is to learn as much as we can and to be of benefit to all of mankind. Anything else is just ego and a distraction from the Spirit.

Spirit to me is my title for God, or as you might call him/her allah, yaweh, or brahman.

You are definitely doomed to be thrown into the fire of the Jehenna, or burning in Hell if you please, if you go on insisting in not being one of us. Jesus is reported to have declared "those who are not with me are against me".

No one of any certified religious faith will approve of your wanting to believe in two Gods, of your wanting to belong to two churches of different faiths. You may be expelled, excommunicated, even condemned to death in some parts of the World, if you ever dare commit such a sin. Can you be formally married to two wives according to the law of your own Country? No? The same, and even worse, is with most religion.

There is a kind of transcendental meaning behind all this that is not up to you to fetch. No yet. Maybe never. No?

Right where we want to be..... safe from the fanatical extremists that will likely attempt to blow up the clouds St. Peter gives them and steal the wings off a fellow angel in the dead of night.

I'd rather be far far away from them anyway..... following the pack of lemmings as it leaps off the cliff is not REALLY where you want to be anyway.

Having a front row seat to the spectacle, with a coupon for unlimited popcorn and hotdogs..??? Now we're talking..!!!!

We don't believe in hell or going to heaven. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses & what the Bible teaches is that loyal mankind will live forever on paradise earth after Armageddon. Read the Bible again. Not the whole thing (you can if u want) but the main gist of it. Simply put, Jehovah has the right & power to destroy those who go against him. They won't suffer, they just won't live forever.

Actually, TRUE Christians don't believe in a fiery Hell where one would burn eternally, for we believe in a Loving God, full of mercy, forgiveness, and undeserved loving kindness!

Only 144,000 actually have the hope of living in heaven. And the remaining ones of mankind who survive the Great Tribulation, will be on the earth, a paradise earth!

I guess we wont really know until we're on the other side. If we make it into heaven I guess we can assume all people of other religions are in a very crowded hell, if we don't make it into heaven we'll kick ourselves for not selecting the correct religion - damn, I knew I should have read that crap the Jahova's Wittnesses were passing out
