If you stop drinking, how long will it take to recover lost brain cells?

Brain cells do not regenerate, so damage is damage. One must learn to compensate for the memory deficits by keeping a calendar, notebook, and small voice recorder (pocket size). Concentration is tougher, but can be practiced with fair results.

Yes. Stop drinking. Brain cells will be replaced, but it's not an overnight change.
