And further I am surprised that most of you dont know that LUST is a sin, right there with Greed, envy.... Having sex with your wife is passion, and intamicy and required, LUST on the other hand has no connection with love, therefore has nothing to do with the sexual acts taked between a husband and a wife.

Before praying this prayer, make sure you clean house yourself, so to speak. Remember that if there is sin in your heart, God does not have to hear your prayer.
Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

"Lord, I call to you in the name of Jesus, my High Priest. I submit to your will. I invite your Spirit to search and convict me of any sin (confess current sin before continuing). Thank you for your forgiveness and cleansing-I put on your breastplate of righteousness. I ask you, on my behalf, to expose all schemes of Satan ever devised against me, through any source, at any time. I ask you, Holy Spirit, to bring into the light powers of darkness that may oppress me.
I forsake all sin in my blood ancestry that may have opened doors to darkness_______(specify names of relatives and sins, if relevant). I close these doors as they relate to me and my children________(name your children). I forsake all personal sin that has given ground to the enemy. I reclaim that ground now. Lord Jesus, I apply the power of your name and blood to remove from me all consequences of evil oppression. In Your authority, I break the binding effect of all curses (be specific, if possible, e.g., witchcraft, hatred, lust, etc.) spells, charms, hexes, vexes, psychic powers, works of witchcraft....anything of evil ever put upon me from any source. I ask You, Lord Jesus, to bind together all enemy spirits that may oppress me, and remove them from my life. Deliver me from all evil."

Spoken with sincerity and authority, this prayer will be effective in loosing the grip of satanic forces present. If you are praying on behalf of another person, you may also give direct command to the enemy to take flight:

"I expose all enemies of Jesus Christ operative against my husband (say husband's name). I sever you from Satan and any power above you. I remove your right to afflict (say husband's name), and proclaim your judgment under the hand of God. I weaken you with the blood of cavalry. In the authority of Christ, I bind all spirits present together. I command you to go where Jesus Christ tells you to go, by the voice of his servant now speaking."

Prayer Against Lust

Please be aware that there is a difference between demons and the flesh. Demons and demonic forces tempt people. Many times there are certain levels of demonic forces at work, but much of the time it has to do with battling our own fleshly desires.

There are two important things to consider. First is he a Christian? If your husband has professed faith in Jesus Christ, then he is a new creation and as he grows in Christ, will not continue to sin. We don't always know if someone is saved. But the fruit bears witness.

Second, is it a battle for him, or does he justify it? There is a big difference. If he is struggling with it, by the blood of Jesus victory will come, but if he Justifies himself, then you may want to consider a more deeper issue... Is he truly saved. 1 John says we will not continue to sin if God is in us, but if we do sin, we have an advocate, Jesus, interceeding for us.

These things are key. If he is unwilling and justifying himself, then pray for his salvation. If he is saved, or professes Christ, then confront him with the issue and make it known between the two of you. If he continues in the sin, bring a trusted witness in Christ (possibly the pastor) to discuss with him the sin and that it leads to death.

If he is willing or desires to stop the, practical things may be appropirate. These are things he would need to do. Removing the computer from the house for a time. Removing the TV, and read the bible instead. Listening to the word through preaching is also key. There are some resources at wayofthemaster.com that may help. They have cd's that reveal the truth of this.

As for prayer, again, if your husband is not soundly saved, pray for that, because salvation is most important, and the lust will fall away.

If your husband is saved, then he must realize the reality of this sin, and that he can not defeat it by himself. I suggest that you pray that the holy spirit convicts him of this sin, and that it would lead him to godly sorrow and repentance.

Mark 9:47
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell

Matthew 5:28
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

You must be careful in the performance of casting out demons.
Take a look at the book of Acts 19:13-20. In my opinion, you have to be filled with the word of God. Look at John 15:7, it speaks on us having the word abiding in us. You must remember that Satan knows the word of God as well and he is able to detect whether we have enough word in us to speak such a thing into existence.

My advice to you would be to get some anointing oil and just anoint your husband when he is asleep. You can anoint anything that he may own. Anoint him and PRAY over him as many times as need be. He doesn't have to know about it due to the fact that sometimes when a person is not ready for deliverance they will not receive your prayers. So it's better to just pray to our Father and believe that He is going to work it out. Keep in mind the scriptures where Jesus says in Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

God Bless You and Your Family

Mi commitment to social justice has led to work full time combating hunger. In the face of injustices and the oppression perpetrated by the transnational capital I think it's time to review the whole issue of fasting so as to recover the full meaning of a text in Isaiah you didn't mention: that fasting is working for the poor denouncing oppression.

You do not give enough detail for correct answer..... but if lust is a serious problem in the marrage your husband, If he is a True Believer, needs to be with men of the faith who can hold him accountalbe for his actions.... you need to be also in accountable contact with faithful women of The Chruch... If your husband is not of The Faith then it is of little use to use The Faith upon him... pray for guidence for your self...from what you did say it is unlikly that a "demon" is involved.

First of all, my beloved sister in Christ, lust is not of the Spirit. It is of the flesh. Second, you must read God's Word about all of this. You have to be more specific but here are two solutions! If your husband is a believer in Christ Jesus, the Word of God tells us that he cannot be possessed by demons (in spite of what churches say). Therefore that leaves only one possible answer, he is giving in to his temptations and is CHOOSING a life of sin. Now, if he doesn’t believe, then it could be demon possession. But in reading your question, the Holy Spirit tells me this isn't the case. It is simple.... Humans love to emerge themselves in the fruits of the flesh. Your husband just might simply be a perv (no offense) that cannot help himself. He can't overcome temptation on his own. Only God can give him the power to overcome lusts of the flesh. But it is good for you to pray. I don't want to give you verses to read sister. I want to give you books.
Read Galatians first to read about the fruits of the spirit. Then read the Gospel of Matthew to read about what the Lord Jesus has to say about lust, adultery, and the REAL power of demons. Then I would read 1 Corinthians, and read what Paul says about this very situation. You CANNOT benefit from reading a couple of verses... you need the WHOLE council of God on this! Keep praying because you DO have power in Jesus name in this spiritual warfare against Satan and his angels. My prayers are with you as well

May God be with you both!

Is your faith stronger than his lust? Can you overcome your unbelief with the belief your prayer would work on him? Follow the advice of the first answer above. He may have a point.

I suggest your husband pays visit to a hypnotherapist. This may work for him.

You can pray to bind his mind to the mind of Christ and bind his will to the will of Christ. This is scriptural. Matt 18:18. Whatever you bind on earth will be bouind in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

First you can't do it if you don't have the baptism with the Holy Gost, (Spirt of God in you). Because if you don't have it, it can go to you.

The best for you to do is to go to a Christian Church and have someone to put their hands on his head, use Jesus name authority and expell the demons from him.
