How do you know if your in love??

"In Love" is such a broad term; what do you mean by it? Some say the concept was invented in the middle ages; surely the idea of sexual or romantic love as a magical state of being that overcomes all obstacles or, in succombing to them, is infinately noble and valuable can be traced to medieval romantic poetry after the crusades and the influence of Islamic literature; while the idea of the perfect "other half" waiting to be found can be traced back to Plato.

Still, it cannot be denied that these ideas flourished to the present day because they resonated with people's experience and real emotions in a powerful way, though this could largely be attributed to the wishful thinking of people under the influence of infatuation, or 'limerence'.

I suspect by your question you may be wondering whether such a state is going to be permanent, or is guaranteed to overcome all obstacles and effortlessly produce a lifetime of happiness together; that answer is easy, it won't. Nothing will do those things.

This is an age old question that no one has ever truly been able to answer. Except perhaps for maybe your own heart. And even that lies to you sometimes. You will never know until time has been spent on a relationship and that relationship has endured. Once there, then ask YOURSELF that question again. If you still find yourself unable to answer, then spend more time learning.

u'll have high pulse rate whenever ur love is nearby u
there will be a strange feeling in ur heart and abdomen which u can't explain
u'll start behaving strangely to different situations

It's tough. Today the whole world seems to be confusing LUST with LOVE. You're in love when you'd lay down your life for the other person. You are in lust if you feel tingly and butterflies. Sex is not love.

If you doubt that you are then you only really liek someone. When liknig someone it is very close to love, but it is not. People know they are in love because they know it. If you think, then you don't know it.

cause you'll feel it. you'll feel butterflys in your stomach and you'll want to see that person everyday. you feel that that is the one you want to be the first thing on your mind when you wake up and lthe last thing when you go to sleep. Well you wouldnt need to ask how you know if you were infact in love, trust me, you would just know. I couldnt sleep, eat, think, or imagine my life without them!
