I want to go out and buy some thick ribbon to use as headbands. I have a hard time keeping it in my hair, because it's semi-thin and slippery. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep it in better?

Hair pins are the simple solution. If you want another idea you might try buying a tube of silicone glue and running a small bead of it along the underneath edge of your ribbon. Of course you must let it dry thoroughly before using. The silicone is like a little piece of rubber and causes a no slip grip. Good luck.

Bobby pins on the underneath.

OR

Just buy the headbands covered in ribbon, they are a lot easier to keep on.

I use bobby pins. I pin it in the very top of my head, then on the sides behind my ears. It works like a charm.

Use bobby pins about the same color as your hair so its less noticeable to keep it in place.
