You need to set up an appointment with a professional to help you get over this hump (for lack of a better word). I lost someone dear to me and it tore me to shreds until I received professional help. There are just some things that the professional's are trained in that our family member's and loved one's can't help us out with.

Good Luck and I'm sorry for your loss!

'-) Keep your chin up!

I'm sorry to here that. Their's nothing wrong with crying. Just let time do it's thing. The pain that you feel won't be this bad forever...in time it will get better. Maybe you should see a professional to talk things out or maybe a close friend or family member

I'm sorry for your loss, it's really tough to lose a parent, or step-parent. Been through this myself. Try to not dwell on his loss so much as just think about all the good times you shared together.

It takes time to get over the loss of a loved one. But you can do this. He wouldn't want you to be un-happy but rather he'd want you to be happy everyday of your life, so do that for him and yourself. You will meet up with him again many many years from now.

Sorry to hear about your step dad. It's okay to cry and greive and you will stop when it is time. Maybe you should talk to someone about the great times you had it may make thing more tolerable.

Always remember the great times you had with him. Those you will always cherish. Other than that time is the only thing that can heal you. You will always feel the loss but in time and by keeping yourself busy, it will be less of a heartache for you as it is right now. Good luck.

Why wouldn't you cry? Someone precious to you has been taken from you. The depth of our grief is in proportion to the depth of our love. Grief has to run it's course. Give yourself time to grieve. There is no time table. And don't let anyone pressure you to "get over it" or "get on with your life." Grief is a matter of adjusting to life without the one who has died, and can be a long, slow process, with lots of ups and downs and backsteps. Bad advice usually comes from someone who has never suffered your loss.

Do you have something of his that you can hang on to? A shirt or something? That can help quite a bit.

It gets better in time, honey. Been there, done that. I know. And it's a tribute to your stepdad that you miss him so!

Is it wrong to cry? No. Crying is natural, it's how you express your emotions. It always helps to talk with a friend, counselor, pastor, or someone close. They may not to exactly what to say but sometimes by them being their for you makes all the difference in the world.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss. There are a lot of grief support groups online and other places, like hospitals, or a local crisis center. I hope you and your mom can be supportive of each other, too. What you are feeling is normal for the loss of a loved one. Take care of yourself, and get help if you feel that you really need it.

So cry, there is nothing wrong with getting it all out. You will slowly get used to the fact that he is no longer physically in your life. I still "talk" to my dad and he's been dead for over 20 years.

You must of loved him Alot .. Do not worry and do not cry for him for he is in a better place. You cry for yourself, not him. He is watching you every day. Are there any noises around where you live, or anyhting that is different now days?
