Hi Katie...this is the funniest and cutest to watch. I call it the "Halloween Kitty Dance" which looks like this image: http://www.symbolworld.org/Bits+bobs/games/halloween/cat.gif

Oh hell yeah! He also hops sidewards while hunched up. We call him Loco when he gets like that. We think ours is a schizo though. Its hilarious. His pupils dilate as big as they can go and his ears point back and hop hop hop in an instant. Sooner or later we will catch it on film. He makes our other cats nervous sometimes. He is not mean though. But he is not a kitten anymore he is almost 2 yrs old.

Yeah my kitten does that. She is so funny. And then if you try to pet her then she does a flip. She is very strong too! You can like see her muscles and she is only 7 months old. And yes she is a girl, trust me I know!

Yes, my cats used to when they were kittens....especially when they see something and they're not sure about it, or when they're playing! Sometimes they would go on tip toes, hunch up their backs, fluff out their tails and JUMP sideways....sooo very cute!!
Yearning for another little kitty....but I have 6 big moggies already!

Yes mine did when it was a kitten, it would do it when it was pretending to attack a mouse, it grew out of it, but still could be found hanging by it's claws from the underside of branches.

That's normal for cats to do. The first time my cat did it I almost peed my pants laughing, but regardless, they do it as a means of scaring off predators. Just enjoy it while it lasts, because as they get older they will no longer feel threatened by you, so they won't do it as often. Hope this helps.

That sounds like something my cat did when it was a kitten. Playing and acting fierce with her back arched......then quickly running out of the room.

HAHAHA, yes!!! He does it when he's scared and trying to look like a "big guy". Like if my 4 year old comes charging at him, he does it. It's the cutest thing ever!
