Do writeing letters to people to apoligize really help?

I wrote a long letter to a guy and he accepted it but every other time he doesn't even respond to the letter. What does this mean?

Writing letters is one way to apologize but people might think that its just a letter anyone can a write a letter and not mean it but apologizing in person can help give the full effect so that they know you mean it.

Letters arent always the best. i hate apologising in person, but thats the best way to do it, if you write it on a letter than its not as meaning cuz it could mean that someone helped you and that what you said in the letter might seem fake!

Guys don't really write letters. Do they? Just because he accepted it does not mean he read it, accepted your apology, or will reply. That's why apologies are best done in person.

Maybe he's not the writing type and doesn't know exactly what to write back to you. I suggest calling him or confronting him in person. Sometimes letters are just impersonal. (sometimes=depending on the situation)

It sounds like he's gracious to accept your apology, but he's moving on with his life, I'm sorry to say! I've apologized to people for different reaons and truly meant it, but they still brushed me off after that, so I moved on with my life. Sometimes you just have too. I usually discover that it's their problem they don't forgive even though they acknowledge the apology. It doesn't sound like your at a loss here =)

writing letters to apologize or to express anything are helpful and easier to do but means more when u say it face to face.

it helps but if the other person holds a grudge when he/she sees your name then he'll throw away the letter. it works but it is bettter to say it face to face so they see the true feelings and wont think you are being a hipocrate. so good luck

One of two things could be a possible reason. 1. He doesn't care about you, doesn't want contact with you. 2. He might be trying to figure out what to say to you.

the same thing happed to me befor i used to write my ex-boyfriend letters and stuff but he never wrote back but then somebody told me that he wasnot even interrested in me he just went with me to get in my pants. but he DID NOT GET IN MY paNTS so just go up and talk to him and tell him how you feel
