I keep getting a feeling of pressure building up on areas of my hands then a pop and a bruise appears. At the moment I have 3 of these on one hand about the size of a one pence. Anyone experience anything like this before and any ideas what causes it? I haven't hurt my hand or banged it against anything - I can just be sitting doing nothing when it happens.

I'm not on any medication and my blood pressure is perfect so its not that either. I have suffered from glandular fever off and on for the past 13 years though but never heard of it causing this.

Sounds like a broken blood vessel which happens alot more as we age - but it should not happen so easy. It may be just a vitamin deficiency but you should see a doctor soon to be sure especially if you are under 30.

It sounds like a vasculature problem, meaning that you maybe having problems with you capillaries and possibly arteries. If you are not on medication, this is probably the cause. Go see a doctor to be examined.

Doctor time. If you veins in pop in your hand you get a bruise, but if it is in your head you get a stroke. Could be high blood pressure or some other sisue that needs to be taken care of.

You need to see your doctor. This doesn't sound normal at all. It could be a sign of illness.
