mean to me?I am a freshmen in college and shy or quiet.I only recently have started to come out of my shell.Anyway this guy in my history class wont leave me alone?I have never met him before .At first it was just teasing which was okay because i teased back and we had some friendly banter.Then the last class while i was talking to this cute guy who sits next to me he just started being cruel and making fun of me for no reason?What can i do to make him stop?

I mean the guy has the whole bad boy with a smart mouth thing going but i have never had a problem with him till now.He completley embarrassed me in front of our whole class.I dont understand why or what i did wrong?

He sees you as a tease. Since you don't go into details, it's difficult to tell if you really are one or not.
Here you were, this shy girl, and then you started paying attention to him in a playful manner. Before you know it, you're doing the same thing with another guy. On the surface, it looks like you are fickle and just pretending to be shy in order to get a guy interested in you, only to move on to the next guy that catches your eye. That's probably how he sees it and is now angry/jealous/hurt and is acting out.
Edit: I hope you're reading everything I'm writing the way it's intended. I'm simply trying to be matter of fact about it and didn't call you a tease. I was saying that I have no idea one way or another if you are one, but that is probably how he sees you given what you have written. So I hope you're taking it that way.

He likes you and seeing you talk to another guy makes him jealous,so he handles things in a very immature way.Lol it's cute but dumb at the same time.If you want him to stop just tell him to and explain to him if he likes you then tell you,you'll understand.He doesn't have to embarrasse you as if you 2 were back in kindergarten.Lol.

He's just being an idiot. Yes he may like you but that doesn't give him the right to treat you the way he has. You want him to stop, you HAVE to tell him to stop. That doesn't mean you have to be rude about it. We all have the right to be treated fairly. And how is he suppose to know that what he's done isn't right? Either way, he won't be able to hide under that "I didn't know" banner.

It sounds like this guy might like you....if u don't like him in that way, maybe you should pull him aside and ask him nicely to leave you alone- otherwise get a school official involved.

Honey, it sounds like he likes you. Theres really nothing you can do to make him stop but I think he likes you. If hes really a bother, go to the administrator/professor and ask for your classes changed.
