I don't believe in end times. Only ends of cycles and beginnings of others.

First off, Suzanne was right on the money. Israel had to become a nation again, happened in 1948, biblical generation is 70 years, which gives us until 2018 for the tribulation to start. Also, all 12 tribes need to be in Israel to construct the new temple, (can't imagine how that's gonna happen, but it will), and from what I understand, even though Israel has been working hard on getting members of all the tribes accounted for, there's still one missing.
Wars and rumors of war could have been any time in the history of this world, so I'm not really gonna touch that one.
Earthquakes, tsunami's, etc., okay, they are getting more frequent.
The great falling away, I see this everyday, especially here in YA.
Immorality and violence, well, I don't think anyone who actually reads or watches the news can debate that one.
No anti-christ yet, so there's a good thing.
And no, I'm not looking forward to it. I don't believe in the rapture, its not biblical, meaning all christians will have to deal with it, there won't be any easy way out of it.

(This is not an all-inclusive list.)
1) Israel has been re-established as one country (instead of 2, as it was from after Solomon's death through the last diaspora) and the regathering of the people has been going on since that time. See Ezekial 36 and 37.
2) Jesus' parable of the fig tree is recorded at Matthew 24:32-35. (The fig tree is the ancient symbol of Israel.) He tells us that when Israel becomes alive again, the end is near. Israel announced about a year ago that, for the first time in nearly 2,000 years, there are more Jews living there than anywhere else in the world.
3) Ezekiel 38 and 39 tells us about an invasion of Israel lead by Russia (Magog) and Iran (Persia), and joined by other Muslim nations such as Libya and Egypt. Russia and Iran have formed a pact for the first time in all of recorded history; news reports suggest Israel, the U.S. and England will strike Iran within months. This may be the catalyst needed to provoke Russia into action first. Ezekiel 38:16 tells us this will all happen in the "latter days," a.k.a. the END TIMES.
4) Jerusalem and Israel will be the cause of international disagreements and wars in the end times. Other nations will seek to take some of Israel's land away. (Zechariah 12:1-5 and Psalm 83:4). This has been fulfilled for the first time in history. And, by the way, an ancient book of Psalms was found in an Ireland peat bog last year -- open to Psalm 83.
5) Jesus tells us that the generation that sees the re-establishment of Israel and the first "birth pang" (which was WWI and WWII) will still be alive when He returns. A Biblical generation is 70 years (Psalm 90:10 -- written by Moses). This is still in the future, but I included it so you can see how close we are to His return.

Many conservative Christians believe that hundreds of Bible prophecies have precisely come true in exact detail. The remainder will be fulfilled in our future. None have actually failed.
Some religious liberals and skeptics maintain that no "real" biblical prophecy has ever come true.
The gap between these two positions appears unbridgeable.
Your mindset will always determine your own truth, and until you let God change your heart, you will never understand.
Read Revelations, the proof is all around you.

Disbelief (THAT'S A BIG ONE)
Hypocrisy in the Church
Modern weaponry (Jeremaiah desribed them as "great steel chariots"--modern day tanks)
"A generation of serpents"--evil generation. Proof that this generation is evil? Lol. AC/DC.
A biblical generation is 100 years.

We're in the end times....but that might actually be another century or millenium or two compared to the creation of the world! It is not immanent as some fundamentalists want you to believe. Then again, it could be tomorrow!

christians are going to take over and "force" the end times upon us. there will be a group of fanatics who want so desperately to prove the bible by seeing the end times they will try to help it get started.
actually you can see "signs" of the end times throughout history, dating all the way back to when this was written. i watched a national geographic (or some other learning documentary) on the sings of the end times.
