He must be burning in hell too

As someone said, Jesus was born Jewish. The Jewish believed in the coming of a Messiah (and they are still waiting). It just so happens that Jesus was the Messiah. He may or may not have always known this. What he did know was that he had a relationship with God the Father and knew he had to be obedient. He had his Father's work to do. He did that. Part of that job was fulfilling the purpose of the Law of Moses and doing away with that law. There is no record of Jesus calling his new church anything Different. I don't think that really started until Paul.

So in reality, Jews and Christians are the same except that Jews are still waiting for their Messiah and still practice the Law of Moses. Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah, and that the Law of Moses was done away. Other different traditions are really not that important, except maybe doing away with Circumcision.

The holy evangelical books give sometimes the impression that Jesus was pretty intolerant, and we may simplemindendly think that he by not getting a family, wife and children of his own, clearly contravened tho holy biblical law of God which says that we God's predilect (semitic) people shall be man and wife and multiply and populate the World.

Jesus is reported to have declared "those who are not with me are against me". Jesus is also reported to spitefully have shaken the dust off his sandals and gone his way at a village where the sceptical inhabitants did NOT want to hear of his holy message. He did indeed iteratively verbally (fortunately only verbally) threaten sinners, scandalmongers, unrepenting souls etc. with the fire of the Jehenna?, or burning in Hell if you please. He is also reported to bluntly have cursed to death the innocent fig-tree for not bearing any fruit when he passed by and was hungry. Jesus violently expelled those men who were selling souvenirs at the temple door; he did indeed not acknowledge that those poor family fathers were trying to earn some money to bring home to family. When he had stayed away from his parents and they asked him why he had disappeared without saying anything to them, Jesus answered sternly to them saying that it was none of their business to be worried about him. In this way he may also have contravened the precept of the second biblical commandment that declares that people shall honor their father and their mother.

The blunt followers of Jesus down the centuries did indeed make great use of dire intolerance and of deadly punishments, they split into many sects and they did indeed violently fight each other and the infidels, and they eagerly burned to death heretics and their books, and witches, rebellious souls, bright philosophers, sincere scientists etc. No?

Good point. You don't expect me to take this seriously, do you? I think hell will be populated with the people who choose to be there--and no one else. I like the tradition that says that Jesus spent Good Friday to Easter in hell, so that he could reach out to those people as well. In other words, God will walk through hell for you.

He was the savior, he was the sheperd, counselor, King of the Jews, Author and perfector of our faith, truth, life, Way, prophet, and advocate.

Most importantly:

He IS GOD.

Jesus came to save souls, not START A RELIGION TO CONVERT PEOPLE.

Jesus is God in the flesh, still is, not was. God the Father has given him authority. If you own the business you don't have to pay retail, right?
