They are breaking the law therefore are criminals. We do not need more criminals here in the US. A vast majority have social security numbers and drivers licenses that they bought from other criminals that were stolen. Why should we reward criminals by letting them stay here? Employers who hire them should be put in jail for aiding and abetting. The ones who do come here legally would have to be able to read and write english. America should stand strong on these issues, because we are turning into a 3rd world country by having to support them and pay for their babies born here. I can't even pay for my own medical insurance because of my high income taxes. I read that L.A. county alone has had to close 84 of it's hospitals because of the burden of giving illegals medical help and no way to collect money to cover it's costs. That is what is going to happen to the citzens of this country. We will have no medical facilities to go to when we are ill or hurt.

no... residency maybe if they exit the country and re-enter after they apply.... that's how everyone else who have to get residency has to do it... and the rules clearly state that if you violate immigration laws you can not get citizenship, why bend it for people who broke the law.... if they exit, and re-enter legally, then they can try for residency, but not the ultimate prize!!! unless they are willing to sacrifice their lives for this nation of ours and enter the war like many of our brave souls... then in 3-5 years, they can apply too! That shows some great sacrifice for the country, and not for themselves, it means a lot.

If they are under the limited number and do so legally, they should be allowed.
That being said, I personally feel our immigration influx is extremely high. The result of this is too many AMericans. We can't support so many people so quickly. WE need to slow down in input of legal immigrants.
Slow and reasonable growth that is controled is my idea of a good time.

NO. because that would reward them for breaking the law. that would be wrong to all the other immigrants who've broken their backs to get here legally. that says to them, "you may as well have sneaked in too." it encourages even more illegals to come here hoping they'll get the same treatment.

i cannot see any good coming from rewarding their bad behavior. maybe if they're punished good, they can eventually get citizenship, but i haven't figured out what an apt punishment would be, unless it's get deported and go to the bottom of the list to get back in. (which has its own set of difficulties.)

Why reward criminals with the best thing on the Planet USA citizenship
Illegals are a drag on the USA's society

I think if your going to get citizenship then you should learn how to speak and write proper English. I saw on TV that an Asian lady was given citizenship and she didn't speak a word of English. I think that's bull crap.

No. For the final time,no. Just because you want something doesn't mean you get it. My parents taught me this years ago. It is time for all illegal immigrants to hightail it back to where they came from. No more benefits. No more free hospital care. No more anything. I want a billion dollars but I'm not seeing that appear on my doorstep. Please, get in line, come here legally or don't come at all. End of Story.

it extremely is not honest. that's the reason greater immigrants could desire to notify state reps and enable them to appreciate that's no longer honest. it extremely is a factor of the subject, on account that criminal immigrants are doing it by skill of the guidelines, they get no say so. i could truly desire to work out criminal immigrants start up talking up approximately how unfair that's. no matter how they conceal it, they desire to advantages the criminals.

NO WAY!!!!

We can't take care of the whole world. The illegal alien criminals broke the law to come here and should not benefit from their illegal acts. They are criminals since they broke the law. Should we give citizenship to criminals?

NO. They are criminals the day they entered my country illegally and deserve nothing but deportation. We have plenty of criminals of our own to contend with. They lower the standard of living everywhere they go. They have no love for the United States and do not plan to become one with us but they keep their own language and customs unlike all of the previous aliens who joined us as Americans.
