By man I specifically mean King James.
Considering the fact that the KJV was translated from the Masoretic hebrew text, but new bibles (New American Standard Bible/English Standard Version ) were translated from a completely different set of NT manuscripts (earlier Egyptian minority texts) as well as the ones used by King James, I am thinking that the KJV is incomplete.
Therefore if you believe that the KJV is the infalliable word of God, doesn't your faith lie in King James?

I did not come to God through any "bible" or work of man... it was just God and me....I did not even own a bible on the day of my Salvation. I now use the KJV... I believe God led me to that translation....and I am in the minority, re bible use, in the congrigation I attend... I have done some looking into the textual critisim business... not worth the time to me... I will agree to using the NASB(updated) if one is not comfortable with the KJV language.... but have little to no use for most all of the other so-called english translations.... The s0-called "minority texts" have only the claim that they are, suposadly, older. All this really means is that they were put way back on the shelf and not used, thus they lasted... while the other texts were widly used and wore out and had to be more often copied... any way...it is too much the unwinable fight.... I know that God had a hand in my coming to use the KJV and I have a certinty that it is the best, over all, english translation.... I do not concider any "modern" text, or the KJV for that matter, to be inerrant... I do have great difficulty with the fact that so many of the "modern" texts" use as, at least part, of their base, the work of Westcott and Hort... neither of whom I concider... by their own work and witness... to have been in any way of The True Christian Faith......the reasoning for my acceptance of the NASB is from what I have read of the diligence given to the work by those involved in the translation.... even though they too used some from Westcott and Hort.

King James did not translate the King James Bible. He authorized a committee of well-respected scholars to work on the "Authorized Version."
My faith is in Jesus Christ. I believe that I am a sinner, that I can't appreciate who God is or what He wants without being changed radically by Jesus. I believe that there is something precious and significant about Jesus' blood, and his resurrection. I look forward to going to heaven to enjoy God's presence forever when I die. Honestly, UFO, there's nothing in this simple set of beliefs that you couldn't find in any NUMBER of English translations, including the KJV. In the matter of salvation, I haven't found any differences in the how-to's given in any of the various translations of the New Testaments I've read (unless they were the New World versions rewritten in the early twentieth century by the Jehovah's Witnesseses, for example.)
Before I get to heaven, I am experiencing God teaching me to help me grow into someone who 1) is becoming a better friend of God 2) is becoming kinder and more compassionate to people. 3) is learning how to identify and destroy the works of the enemy--suffering and evil in our world.
The Bible is the most powerful way, in my experience, anyway, that God uses to speak to me, and change me, and tell me what he wants me to do. I am coming to depend on the KJV as the VEHICLE through which Jesus, the one on whom I have faith, speaks to me. I am coming to see the KJV as being the most accurate available English translation of the majority texts (they were majority texts because they were the manuscripts the apostles and their disciples recognized as being authentic.) If I spoke Mandarin Chinese exclusively, I would expect God to use another translation besides the KJV to speak to me. And God can use other English translations besides the KJV to speak to people. Matter of fact, he could use a newspaper article, or a question on Yahoo by an atheist, or even a low-living televangelist, or a bumper sticker, to speak to people.
One striking difference (again, it doesn't have to do with getting saved, but it does have to do with fighting against evil) is when the disciples ask Jesus why they couldn't pray successfully to get an individual free from a possessing devil. Jesus in the KJV says it's because this kind of devil doesn't leave unless there's been prayer and fasting. Other translations drop the "and fasting" and I suspect that without fasting, we might be limiting the force we can exert against the Enemy.

What matters is that the Holy Spirit gives inspiration to the word and revelation. What I don't trust is your info. I have always known the KJV as the most accurate. Reguardless all scripture is given by inspiration of God and His spirit directs and guides one through revelation of that word.
You can still research the wrong material and come up with the wrong answer

Even if there were no Bible, I would still have faith in God.
