I got my pup Zoey 2 weeks ago and she was eating fine then all the sudden today she wont eat anything. I am worried about her. I even tried mixing her dry food with canned and she dont want it.

Also she does seem to be sleeping more and not as playful.

She goes potty fine. No blood and so on. I never feed my pet people food. Only puppy food. Till they turn a year.

I think she may just be growing and have no appetite today.
So long as she eats later today she will be fine.
If she goes the whole day without eating I would consult your vet.
Is there any diarrhea? If so any blood? It may be a parasite or bacterial infection, and you would need some antibiotics or an interceptor drug.
I wouldn't give in to her and give people food though, this will teach her to starve herself to get some of your supper.
Also, when do you feed her? I always feed my dogs after we have eaten, the smell of our food always gets their appetite going, and also teaches them that we are the leaders of the pack, and the subordinates eat afterwards.

Puppies are brats, it's not uncommon to go on occasioanl "Hunger strikes". don't do anything different, give her the bowl, give her 10 minutes to eat, if she doesn't eat, take it away. Don't make an issue out of it, otherwise you are reinforcing the behavior; she gets attention for not eating. She will eat when she is hungry. My puppy did that at 4 months and again 2 weeks ago at 7 months. It's annoying because we want them to eat, but it's best to not alter the food or routine and just act like nothing has changed. The puppy will realize that nothing is going to come of the hunger strike and she will go back to eating...only to do it again in a month or two;)

my dog bitsy is older them your's but i have notice that when she is in heat, she won't eat at the time she will only eat off and on. also she has gland problem by her anal and that is another time she won't eat she won't until i massage her in that area. and if she is a long haired dog she gets poop stuck in the hairs , if that is the problem take a wet one[for babys] and massage the area and try to get the poop off. i hope this helps . but if she don't eat for a day or two dont worry, she will eat when she gets hungry. also if you are giving her can dog food put out some puppy hard food so if she gets hungary she will eat. i hope this helps

If she has only missed one meal, don't worry yet, as long as she is acting normally otherwise. sometimes dogs just don't feel like eating. if you notice any changes in her behavior though (acting tired, or just strange) then call the vet. i wouldn't recommend adding stuff to her food because then she might expect a special treat and not be happy with her normal food. a healthy dog won't starve itself, so just offer her food and keep an eye on her behavior.

She could have a stomach infection...or she cant...ya know poop for some reason just take her too the vet and shell be fine im sure... no need to worry

did you happen to change her food? put her food down in the morning if she does not eat it then pick it up and feed it again at next feeding weather at noon or at night feeding. do not feed to much at each feeding yet till she starts eating again

give her a little and if you are still worried take her to the vet.. It may be something that needs attention with a vet. hope everything works out
