The business I work for is located on the second floor of a building, and we do have a ramp, so it would be easiest to get a chair for our clients that have difficulty with the stairs.

I would try freecycle.org (or is it .com?) and try and see if anyone has one they are willing to give you. Saves you money and gets rid of something for someone else!

I suggest you contact your local "red cross" society, they sometimes have donated items, otherwise go to a reputable dealer and let them know what you want it for, they can suggest a good all around chait. DO NOT buy or get a used chair from just anyone. There can be hidden problems that could cause a serious accident in the chair. You don't want to face a lawsuit.
