well, im going to start off by saying i love my boyfriend.
ive learned the fine line between obsession and love
and there is no doubt in my mind i love him
im 19
hes 20
ive known him for a little over two years
we dated on and off for one
but he cheated on me before with his ex gf who he had been going out with for 2 yrs b4.
i was so angry and bitter at first,cheating wasnt ok but then i figured he felt the way about her as i did about him
i thot about him everyday for the next half of a year... and apparently he did two because he shows up saying sorry and how he understands if i never talk to him
him and his ex broke up
but i didnt buy it at 1st but i really did miss him so we started to be friends
and of course i loved him and i wanted to be with him so i gave him a 2nd chance
i culd write the book on "when bfs cheat" and my boyfriend doenst show any of the signs, yet im scared hel do it again. i cant live w/o him but i hate being so scared. what shuld i do?

Once a cheat always a cheat... I did that w/ my bf and now I'm having problems after 2 years of being back together, that he's been cheating on me while out of town. Using my phone and a car that we bought together... bastard! Dump his *** and I'm about to do the same. It's not worth the heartache, pain, and tears... It will definitely change you for life. I thought I found someone to love for the rest of my life.. All together we've been with each other 6 years and he still can't be faithful.. Some men just can't get it together. They don't know a good thing even if it's staring them in the face. But eventually it's up to you and your feelings about him if your willing to take the risk. I was and now my heart is broken and bruised b/c this guy couldn't keep it in his pants.

You need to realize something that is a basic trait of men. Once they cheat, they will always cheat if they have the opportunity. You boyfriend cheated on you before, he'll do it again when he finds somebody that he prefers over you. You are just someone he can have until he finds one he like better.
Now, you may think I'm being mean or cruel, but I'm not. I'm being real! I think, however, that under your current state of mind you're not ready for reality so I may be wasting my time, but I think you need to grow up a little here.
The positive thing is that you're so young, its only a matter of time until the one for you comes along. In the mean time, have fun looking for him and enjoy the relationships you have. SMILE!

I have this same problem!! We've been back together for 2 years now. I wonder every now and then, but i really don't think he's doing anything. I let him go out with the boys and all, you just have to trust him. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I told mine that "I have a right to ask these questions. It helps put my fears to rest. I just want to make sure that I'm not going to get hurt again." He understands because he loves me and knows he messed up. It will be hard but if you love each other it will be worth it. Good Luck

First of all, the issue you are talking about is trust.. pure and simple.
Normally I say something else here, however in your case, you could be right; all things considered, he may have slipped once and now be reformed..
Since that was then and now is now you need to let it go... However, as you imply, don't be stupid either...
If your feelings tell you something is going on, then check it out for yourself and before you go around accusing.... It's o.k. to do a little snoopin ya know...
Trust is the foundation of any relationship but you can't trust until you know you can... it's not something to "just do".. It's something that must be earned through trustworthy actions over time.

Thaths normal, but always remember to give space to your boyfriend. He might not know at the moment what he really wants. Try to find out more about that. When he understands when he really understands that he really likes you. he shouldn't cheat anymore.

There are plenty of other fish in the sea: Fish who DON'T cheat! I'd move on from him. Do you really want to take that risk again? Think about it first.

If he's done it once.........in your mind .....he'll do it again. And ya, that is a possibility* So you need to ask yourself.....am I going to take that risk or move on with my life as I'll never fully trust him again. That is the question*

communication. sit him down and tell him how you feel...if he cheats again then you really know he doesnt deserve a second chance and youd have to get over him, but hopefully that wont happen. good luck
