3M hooks are the best. There is a piece of what looks like double sided foam tape. You stick it to the wall. Wait 30 minutes and then slide the hook onto it. They come in various sizes for different weights of things. When you go to take them off the wall there is a pull tab at the bottom. You pull it slowly and it sort of just peels off. I rented a brand new condo. I was the first renter. I had these all over the place. When I left there wasn't anything left on the walls and you couldn't even tell where I had put them. And if for some reason they don't come off when you try to get them off, all you have to do is hold a hairdryer on it to make the sticky more sticky and that will take it off too. They are great. I hung coats from the walls and pictures. Wonderful product. You can buy refills for them too. Great stuff.

I am tight on money and for my girls room I decorated her wall with pictures of her with her friends. I just used a stapler( from the dollar store) and stapled the pictures to the wall. You can try stapling a few together to make a small square above your bed, or in a circle, or in a spiral may be fun! Also, if you have photo suite or any kind of photo shop on you computer, you can change the color of the picture to black and white, etc. Hope this helps! P.S. dollar store construction paper makes a nice background, or "frame" or swirly thing around your spiral and so on.

Yes - if you have the extra cash go ahead and get the on demand from the removed question you asked. As you are new to an apartment - be sure that you can afford it before buying anything. You know you will prolly have to give up something else to pay for it and can you really give that up. So - if you are sure and are going to be able to make it in the apartment - go for it guy.

Depending on how heavy the items are, you can use Command adhesives. They are those sticky hooks that can be removed from the wall without damaging it.

3m makes a sticky picture hanger all u due is put up the tape and then the hook .you can get them pretty much any where.they do work .the product is called hook with command and u can view it at www.3m.com just so you know what to look for

3M makes a product you can use without making any holes, it's like Velcro and works well, I've used it on concrete walls and so far so good, make sure you check the rating for weight, good luck

Try these, it is adhesive and as long as the picture is below 5 pounds it will hold with no problem, worked for us.

It would help to know more, such as why you can't use nails.
What is the material? Is is just a renter's regulation?
