I would imagine so. Since the virus is passed on thru bodily fluids, and semen is considered a bodily fluid, I would think that it would pass on this way. When you're sick with the cold/flu that germ spreads thru your whole body is what I was lead to believe. Blood, saliva, urine, snot, as well as semen would all carry that virus. As far as orally, well if any of those fluids find a way inside your body you will be infected. Think about it, what is the easiest thing you are taught to fight colds/flus, wash your hands right? The last cold I had (last week) I am pretty sure is a direct result of me shooting pool and then eating without washing my hands. I was touching all kinds of things, money to put in the coin machine, pool sticks/table, chairs, door knobs, and I ate a huge plate of food without washing my hands. 2 days later whataya know, I'm coming down with a cold. So any time that any cold or flu virus enters your mouth you will be infected. The best way to fight a cold is a product called Airborne (insert registered trademark symbol). This is a powerful immune booster made up of 17 herbs and a bunch of other vitamins/nutrients (no, I repeat NO drugs). You take one every 3 hours for the duration of the cold and it will never become full blown. There is a key to it though, and that is you MUST take it at the VERY VERY VERY FIRST signs of symptoms. Otherwise it will have no effect. I don't think it will fight the flu virus off, but the common cold has no chance once you start taking this. You can also take it if you plan on being around someone sick or in crowded places. It was invented by a second grade teacher who was tired of getting sick from her students. You can take it all day everyday, no limit. Just one every 3 hours. If your mate/spouse gets sick, go get some Airborne and you will be protected. Oh yea, and it's an effervescent so it is immediatly abosorbed.
So I guess the answer to your question is...not if the catcher takes some Airborne beforehand or soon afterwards, lol.

no.. the cold or flu virus is an airborne virus.. and it prefers the respiratory tract so i dont think you can contract it orally via semen (if this is what i think it is..) what can be transmitted are STDs..
