My mom thinks we are too young to have a boyfriend, but I do anyway. So today, my friend asked me If I wanted to get ready for the dance together. Then right after, my boyfriend asked me if I wanted to go with him, and he'd pick me up at my house. But I'm not sure if my mom will let me go with him. And if I get ready alone, she'll think I have no firends. What should I do?????

How old are you? I agree with your mom - depending on your age... you might be a little young to worry about a boyfriend... however... if you are still interested in having a boyfriend that does NOT pressure you... and is like a good friend.. I guess I understand.
I would say get a group of friends together get ready and go there.... it sounds like your boyfriend is going to the dance, anyway... meet him and a group of his friends there. Maybe it could be fun to have such a big group hanging out and enjoying the time!

Don't let your boyfriend pick you up at your house. Explain to him that you will meet up at the dance, because you will be with friends. Friends are forever, while boyfriends will come and go. If you are in the relationship just for the popularity or knowing the satisfaction, DON'T. Be in it because you truly love each other. If your boyfriend really loves you, he won't mind. He will understand that you need to be with your friends, and will understand to not get to serious so fast. Just have fun in life, sweetie! You're so young, and you need a chance to live a little! If this is going to be such a problem why don't you go to the dance with your friends and meet up with your boyfriend there? This way he doesn't pick you up at the house, your mom thinks you have friends and you can still spend the night with your guy...
Though I have to wonder how old you are, if you're too young for a b/f and you're dating a guy that can drive... If you're like 13 and he's 16 it probably isn't that great of a combination...

U could just ask your mom if u can go with your boyfriend if she says no go with both your boyfriend and your friend. U could go over your friends house and get ready and then have your boyfriend pick u and her up from her house

Yeah, your mommy is right you shouldn't have a boyfriend. Teenage boys are after one thing and one thing only, I don't care what any body says. Which can lead to a couple of undesirable situations, pregnancy (so not fun at 17, first hand experience with this), STD's etc. Go to the dance with your Friend and dump you boyfriend.

Tell your boyfriend that your mom won't let you go with him and that you'll meet him at the dance. Your friends shouldn't mind covering for you. You can have fun with your b/f and your friends too. I'm sure he'll understand. Keep it a secret from your mom.

Ok, I have this same prob but I worked it out. This is what I'm doing: I will have my friend come over and get ready with me and we will take her to the dance. Then, I will wait for my bf to get there and we will all have a great time. Maybe we'll slow dance a little....ok, I'll stop now!!! Good luck!

go with your boyfriend considering that your in high school and let your mom get the shocking reality that her little baby girl is growing up and will soon leave the nest to make her own. Parents have a hard time acknowledging the fact that ther child is growing up but you have to move in your natural developement of life.

This is an easy fix =) go with your friends and then simply let him know you'll meet him there and just explain why; that it makes your mom nervous and that if you guys meet there, you'll still have a good time. If she asks later, tell her you had fun with friends =) no harm in that because you really did!

go with your friend but meet your bf at the dance and be in like a group together so TECHNICALLY you arent lying to ur mom but you probably arent worried about that cuz you have have a bf anyway.
