All Christians are not politically Conservative. Some are liberal.
All Conservatives are not Christians. I am Conservative but I follow a neo-pagan path.

If a liberal Christian claims Christianity they do not abridge the Gospel. Jesus said He would spew them out. Revelation 3:16...They are Lukewarm!

It will not Matter after this week if HR 254 House Bill is passed. Rep Sheila Jackson-Lee of Texas is sponsoring a bill to Stop Your religious Free Speech. It is also being sponsored by ADL!

You know the weird thing? In the bible, Jesus is a liberal. So it makes no sense at all that Christians would be Conservative since Conservatism is about getting money by whatever means neccesary while Liberalism is all about the people.

No sense at all.

I imagine that some Liberal Christians exist, but the gvt would have you believe otherwise.

"Conservative" means "traditional." When we classify Christians as 'conservative' or 'liberal' we can either refer to their political affiliation or their religious affiliation. Fundamentalists, for example, are liberal in religion (vehemently anti-tradition), but neo-conservative in their political outlook. Many Christians are conservative (i.e. traditional) in their view of Christianity, but tend to be politically liberal. To complicate matters even more, their are political conservatives (advocates of Constitutional government) and neo-conservatives (advocates of right-wing big government).

I belong to a rather large christian community and we are conservative. Not by political definitions, but by the bible's definition of morality and how we, as Christians, should live our lives.

Of course Christians can be liberal. Any real follower of what Jesus taught would have to be.

The Kennedy family comes to mind. Can't get much more liberal than that.
