Kenny G is a great jazz instrumentalist; very good slow jazz. That could make for some romantic nights. However, you want lyrics, so I'd recommend Diana Krall because she does a lot of jazzy love songs, or a jazz standard, Nat King Cole. Ella Fitzgerald is another jazz legend; she does a lot of skatting in her songs, so I don't know how much of a mood setter that could be. Then there's the famous Kurt Elling... he's amazing as well. I happen to like Sade too, who's a more contemporary artist. You may have already heard her famous tune "Smooth Operator". You just have to try different artists, and find one (or a few) that you like. Good luck doll~
