They are only stressful if they are not working.All relationships take work but should not cause stress.

I think there are a number of reasons. You have to be able to deal with each other's idiocyncrisies (quirks) and keep a happy medium between the two of you because of different personalities. I've been told by everyone I know it does take work. If it's so stressfull that one of you keeps analyzing things; it's time to really evaluate the relationship. Unless there are just small things that drive you crazy that can be worked out =)

You are putting two totally different people with totally different backgrounds and totally different beliefs with totally different upbringings together. Can't you just feel the confusion? It is hard to be on the same page, at the right time, for the same reasons, believing the same way all the time. It is stressful and that is why there is no relationship without compromise. No two individuals are cut from the same cookie cutter. That's why we're called individuals. It takes time together, growing with one another and love to make it work. That's just to name a few things. However, it is also a relationship that helps to heal, brings happiness, encouragement and confidence to us. It's not easy, but it's worth it if it's with the right person. Not that I believe there is only one right person for everyone, but there are definetely wrong people for us. Just focus on what really is important. We choose our battles. Choose wisely!

I think it's because we put a lot of trust in the other person and we expect a lot from them,when something go wrong we get really mad and stress out...
