If a person has stage VI and were able to apply for the Novelos Therapeutics Adjunct Chemotherapy the survival rate might be 80% better than without NOV-002.
Plus their Chemo tolerance might increase to 100%

"NOVO TWO" is approved for use in Russia.

See if this person with stage VI can be allowed the Phase III studies NVLT.OB is accepting 840 Lung Cancer patients.

Stage 4 means the tumor has metastasized to another organ. Surgery is generally not an option. Cure rate at this stage is very low, but known to happen.

unfortunately, its not good. Lung cancer is very aggressive. Usually by the time they find it, it has spread to other parts of the body. My husband was diagnosed March 20th. He went thru radiation, chemo, gamma knife procedure and took a drug called tarceva. Sadly, he passed June 6th.

It depend on what type of tumor to have;non small cell 0r small cell and what treatment is giving.Sorry,usually 6-12 months life span.5 year survival rate is very very low.
