I went to one called "The Great Banquet". It was a 3 day retreat, and it was the most spiritual experience I've ever had.

I went on a week-long retreat at the Buddhist monastary near Pretoria, South Africa about 6 months ago. One of the most amazing experiences of my life.

My spiritual retreat is in front of the fireplace on a cold night, with a glass of cognac and a good book. It may sound trite, but it is quite relaxing and allows for great introspection.

Spiritual Retreats? there stupid, there was one near where i lived, the findhorn foundation, it scared me.

I went on a few in my Christian days. It was called Koinonia and it was an amazingly moving experience. Lots of singing, lots of praying, lots of hugging.

Bible. Tapes, Cd's. PRAYER, Music. etc.....................
