Go to www.torrentz.com, install there downloader and you can do a search there. You will find Office 2000, Office 2003 and Office 2007 there totally free but not leagal in the U.S. if you care about that.

Short answer: You can't. Microsoft is pretty tight with their software. But! If you go to http://www.openoffice.org, you can download Sun Microsystem's version of Office for free! It's almost 100% compatiable with Microsoft's version.

You can dowload a free trial at the microsoft website. You can buy it at a discount if you are a teacher or student or work for the government. Any other way would more than likely be illegal. If you just need a word processing program try openoffice.
