I am not at all trying to make fun or light of the disease or its sufferers but I have this question and possibly a cure . Why don't they just give anorexics pot? I mean 2 bowls a day and they'd be putting on the pounds I guarantee it and they'd be happy and laid back. Just a suggestion...what do ya think?

hey, thats actually a good idea! and to the first answerer--bulimia is the diease where you binge and purge....in anorexia its just starving and no binging.

I thought they did in areas where medicinal pot was legal. It suppresses the urge to throw-up, which is what anorexics do when they try to eat.

well i think it might help... but its not legal in too many places...
also people with this disorder might be at risk of creating an addiction for the weed... so i dont know.

To cure anorexia, just keep throwing up then eat the puke.

I agree, I heard in Etheopia, they feed it to their babies to give them an appetite.
