Abba is a name given to the Christian God. The name is used rarely and is Aramaic for "daddy", an allusion to "God the Father".
Saying I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth is better than saying I believe in God, the dad almighty, creator of heaven and earth is better don't you agree?

Yours in Christ

My girlfriend does actually... it would be ok to, the Bible tells us we'll have the spirit to call Him "Abba" which basically means "Dad" in Aramaic. I dont call Him Dad usually because if I do, people think I mean my earthly father.

Actually, the word Jesus taught us to use to address God, "Abba", actually does mean "Daddy" or "Papa". I believe He intended for us to consider God as our loving parent...Our Daddy, Whose throne is in Heaven...
Imagine...my Daddy is God!!
