Every 4 weeks is considered 1 month. There are actually 10 months in the pregnancy cycle - not 9 - that's the biggest confusion. If you were 7 months pg - you would be 28 weeks. 34-35 weeks means you are over 8 months. Also, your due date is figured on the first day of your last period - so don't count from when you think you conceived - you count from May 22. 40 weeks from May 22 would be your due date - and if you count 34-35 weeks from May 22, you should come up with today's date as well.

You got pregnant the week after your period in May. Not June.
Therefore, you are due in Feb, and are now 8 months preggers.
I'm not sure why you don't believe the doc. Do you want your belly to grow that much larger?
Hopefully you are not going to be the one teaching your child about sex-ed and math. lol. jk. :p

month one = week 1-4
month 2 = week 5-8
month 3 = week 9-13
month 4 = week 14-17
month 5 = week 18-21
month 6 = week 22-26
month 7 = week 27-30
month 8 = week 31-35
month 9 = week 36-40
you start counting weeks the first day of your last period (even though you didnt conceive till 2 weeks later)
so you conceived about june 5, and today are 35 weeks pregnant or in the last week of your 8th month not 7 months :)

well if you go by months, you are actually pregnant for almost 10 months cause pregnancy is 40 weeks- 4 weeks in a month... dr's start counting you as pregnant on the first day of your last menstral period, so, you would be 8 months pregnant...i find it easier to go by weeks rather than months...

may 25th- february 25th =9 months. If you count from june then your 7 months (I take it your counting from the time you realised that you weren't having your periods)but you need to count from May 25th remember your due date is 25th february. so your almost 8 months....1 more month

The weeks are counted from the first day of your last period... not from conception. So, count 40 weeks from your last period... that's your due date.
