my 8 mth old house cat jumped out my kitchen window last thursday night and he hasnt been back since ,he usually doesnt go outside but lately hes been howling ....does that have anything to do with him wondering off and will he eventually come home ???

i have 5 cats the males always run off! but they will dissapear for at least 3 days (even females do this, even kittens) they will return home and believe me u wont find them in ure neighborhood, god knows where they run off too. I have a new cat hes only been to my house 1 day, dissapeared i i was teribly worried but he appeared this morning and has planned to stay, he returned only 2 days after so just give them time. Make sure u dont have catnappers in ure neighborhood either.

Start putting up signs. Scour the neighborhood.

he might come back - he is out hunting for females in season at the moment, its instinct, get him neutered or he might not come back home one day.
