I have this girl who is shy, I need ideas on places to take her and hope she opens up

Take her somewhere the two of you will interact either alone or with a group. Take her bowling. Take her to paint pottery (In my town we have a bunch pf places you can go to create art together). Take her to a sporting event. Take her out to dinner ofcourse!

Go to a place like Dave and Busters where you can have fun in a public atmosphere. That way she won't be pressured into talking too much. Plus you will have a great time.

Roller skating or ice skating is good because their will be physical contact between the two of you that might help to break the ice. And the music is loud so that she won't feel awkward if she doesn't have much to say.

the movies would be a good place for a shy date. since you guys will be watching the movie, there won't be a lot of 'silence' moments.
