The cost depends on the fee schedule for the dental office. Some offices charge for for partial dentures and some charge more for full dentures. Nothing compares to your natural teeth, but if you have a few missing teeth, I would suggest a partial denture. If the remaining teeth fail, in time, you will need to have a full denture later and that will be at an additional cost. Depending on which teeth are missing, you can sometimes have a fixed bridge instead. This would be better but it is usually more expensive. Also, implants are a way of replacing a tooth that is missing.

I am in the process of getting my teeth pulled to get dentures. I have consulted with 7 dentists and denturists. They are mostly in agreement on the fact that dentures are better. You can get a partial, and then the rest of your teeth will go bad, and you will still have to get the full denture; so you are at twice the cost.

dentures will cost more, but they dont have to. there are several price levels you can choose from (good better best) as far as quality goes. any denture work that is done by an outside lab cost only a fraction of what these ripp off dentists charge. bargin with your dentist,it couldnt hurt.
