I took everyone's advice and went on to use the restroom. However a client called me "sir" when I came out. Then when he got a better look at me he said "oh, sorry, ma'am. I saw you coming out of the men's restroom...and, well, you know..."
I have deceived one of God's men.

oh boy oh boy i think you care a little too much about what people might think big deal you used the men's room because you had to go to the bathroom you should have just told him that the woman's bathroom isn't working and that's that
