i had a recent boyfriend dump me for this other gurl and i was talking to him but i dont know if him and hes girlfriend broke up yet i was the one who called him and he was talking about hooking up if i got back wit him would it be dumd thing to do???

Tell him to go straight to hell! even if you love him, if he loved you he would never have broken up with you to begin with. Also say thank you because having a relationship is all about seaching for the right guy and if he broke up with you in the first place, he isn't the right guy for you. It may hurt, I know I am going through something like that too, but in the end he will probably hurt you again and its just not worth it. Be strong, and good luck.

Yep. That would be really dumb. If he dumped you once, what makes you think it won't happen again and again? He'll always come back if it doesn't work out, knowing you are a sap, but eventually he'll find someone else that will stick. Then you're out of luck. Have some self-appreciation and let the loser go! I, personally, would never talk to him again. You can do better. Good luck!

i was with my ex for 4 years and some months and he ended up leaving me so he can be with other girls and he just wanted to mess around and his reason was because when we got together when we were young (16 & 17) and he needed to have his fun before he got serious... i thought we were already serious and happy on top of that... he got a taste of what was out there and after 3 months tells me he misses us, but basically wanted to be together again but didn't want to be committed? i didn't understand exactly what he wanted because i cut him off and told him we would never be together again doesn't matter how much i loved him before he broke up with me but it was different now and i would never go back to him everything was ruined since that day he left me and it would never be the same between us and the best he could hope for is he would stay a good friend but would never go back to a relationship because i respect myself to much and know i am worth more respect then how much he had given me that day and personaly i think thats what you should do too because there will be someone out there that will treat you like a queen and thats the only one that should be your man... good luck!

I say u can be with him if u think he is the right guy for you..... But b4 hooking again ask him what made him realize to get U back in his life.... ask him whats the gurantee u wont do tht cheating thing again.... and tht sort of questions tht u doubt about..... see the way he replies and then make anykind of decision...
No harm in giving another chance (If ur sure about him)

you know i made the mistake of breaking it off with a girl, for someone else and know i regret it everyday!
my standpoint is different, because i made this mistake... other wise i probably would say hell no, don't take him back.
people do change, but it could be a hard thing for you to accept or being worried that it would happen again... obviously you're considering it if you asked the question. all i can say is listen to your heart and go with that.

Yes, it would be a dumb thing to do. If he dumped you for another girl before, he will do it again. He's not worth it. There are better guys out there. You deserve someone better.

Its only dumb if you don't like being used. How many guys did you date while you were broken up? I bet if you even dated one, that guy wouldn't want you back. Kick him to the curb and get on with your life. What's the point of going back to something you already had! Get something new and exciting.
