Never heard of it and don't know. A diet is just that, a diet. A healthy lifestyle is what should be the goal rather than losing weight for 3 months, then gaining it back, then dieting again and so forth. I witnessed the torture my mother put herself through on every diet from Weight Watchers, Richard Simmons, Jenny Craig and Atkins diet. It's not that the diets didn't work, they did. But once she stopped dieting because she was happy at her weight she gained it all back and usually then some. Each diet took a toll on her. Depleteing herself of water, protein and nutrients which did more damage to her body in the long run. But we tend to not care about the long run, we just want to lose weight now. After her last diet of Atkins she completely changed her outlook on food. Atkins made her faint and weak. She couldn't stand up without getting light headed. Granted she was 50 lbs lighter but didn't feel good enough to do everyday things. When she nearly passed out at the store was when I put my foot down. I love my mom regardless of her weight and want to enjoy as much time with her as I can. So I got involved promoting exercise and healthier eating. Together we joined the local YMCA and started grocery shopping together. We planned out well balanced meals and worked out 4 days a week. We bought health food books and found great recipes that are healthy and taste great. We have changed the eating habits of our whole intermediate family. Finally we all eat great, feel great and look great. For 25 years I watched my mom feel bad about herself doing any trick under the sun to try and lose her weight only to gain it back. For the last 6 years she has maintained her weight, is happy and healthy. She actually enjoys going to the YMCA by herself now. Her confidence level has grown immensely. I am so proud of her and all her hard work. To see my mom smiling is priceless. So when I see/hear the word "diet" I get a little annoyed as I know what a diet can do. Diets are temporary, a healthy lifestyle is not. I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss. Good Luck & God Bless!

I tried it. But I couldn't stand the taste. So I only lasted for two days. But the article where I read about the vinegar diet, didn't say you had to eat certain foods. Try a raw food diet (veggies and fruit).

Sounds like hype. From what I've read, drinking two tablespoons of vinegar before eating may slightly reduce the absorption rate of sugars, which helps some people with weight loss.

But it looks like it hasn't been studied extensively, and people looking to get rich are running with the idea in order to cash in.

I've never heard of a vinager diet...sounds terrible! Sounds like your trying to pass a drug test (which won't work either), instead of loosing weight...besides, wouldn't you still want to stay healthy?

A vinegar diet does not work and is unhealthy. Try the southbeach diet - from all the people I have known who have dieted that one seems to be the best.

Apple cider vinegar found to have healing properties
by Mike Adams

Apple cider vinegar, with a little honey, can detoxify the body of pollutants, unhealthy foods and unnatural elements absorbed through the skin, and Amber Roedel, in a recent Salt Lake Community College Globe article said that it contains more than 40 vitamins and minerals.

Results show that drinking apple cider vinegar (ACV) and honey everyday keeps you healthy.
The detoxifying elements found in apple cider vinegar have been proven to heal and cleanse.
Apple cider vinegar detoxifies the body of pollutants caused from the air we breathe, unnatural food consumed, and anything else unnatural that can be absorbed through the skin.
Apple cider vinegar contains over forty vitamins and minerals.
ACV releases toxins from the liver and has helped arthritis patients, people with high blood pressure, and skin conditions.
Other ailments helped by consuming apple cider vinegar high cholesterol, insomnia and fatigue, liver and kidney problems, asthma, weight loss and more.
After pharmaceuticals entered the world, people forgot about alternative healing methods that can cure aches and pains that we spend thousands of dollars on each year.
"I originally started drinking ACV for body detoxification," Mandy Brown said.
Brown has had a success with the natural cleaning drink since she began to drink ACV over two years ago.
"It doesn't taste that great at first, but I started to enjoy the taste after a couple of weeks," Brown added.
Put two to three tablespoons of ACV into a glass and dilute with water.
Honey helps digestion and also contains vitamins and enzymes.
Although honey adds to the healing, it is not necessary because ACV has its own healing properties.
Laurie Balcom has experienced her own miracles drinking apple cider vinegar and honey.
Balcom experienced severe breakouts of eczema like symptoms on her feet for eleven years.
She expressed how painful it was to walk and to even put on a pair of shoes with her condition.
As her condition got worse she saw several doctors from disease doctors to dermatologists.

You'll ruin your stomach with vinegar!

Try stopping junk foods and cutting out desserts and any kind of gravy for starters.

You'll see that your weight will drop.
