I always kiss my cat on the nose so now she comes up to me and slightly bites my nose. I didn't know what she was doing the first time and didn't realize she was trying to kiss me back till the next time I kissed her nose :)

Questions like yours could inspire very long answers.....but I'll try to be brief. I'll mention three cats...and just a few things.
1) Domestic short hair...6 y.o. shelter cat .....loves my MacBook laptop.....or should I say...loves to curl up on it when it's closed and use it as a heating pad. (Cats sometimes walk on keyboards......but they are too wonderful to be mad at....just be glad they are there for you.)
2) Maine Coon 8 y.o. - ( long haired & fluffy.....especially in winter) everything you may have heard about 'America's First Breed' is true. He was a shelter cat....and I'd get another in a heartbeat. He loves to climb trees....sometimes 30 feet up! I heard dogs barking and ran out to find our neighbors pooch (friendly....but soooo dog-like!) had treed my boy. I ask him if he was okay and he looked at me, yawned, stretched and closed his eyes. He is playful, loyal & loves to lie upside down and look at crazy humans 'hanging from their feet.'
3) My final cat tale is about my long time bestest friend. Ziggy was 19 when he passed away 4 years ago. He kept me sane for a long, long time. I used to awaken most mornings to find him on my chest. He would gently touch my nose until I opened my eyes. And it was almost always five minutes before the alarm went off. (I guess he hated that noise as much as I did!)
He also would do this wonderful thing I called the 'vulcan mind meld.' (From Star Trek) Zig would climb up in my chair.....sit on the arm.....and press his forehead against my bi-cep. Sometimes this 'secret ceremony' would last for several minutes. I think he was trying to send some 'cat sense' to his human friend. He has a place of honor in the yard by my door. I still say hello to him when I walk by.....remembering his wonderful spirit.

My cat used to beg for honeyed ham and he would only eat tuna fish if it had mayo in it. He used to greet me at the front door. He would attack his toy mice as if it was an ambush. I would just look at me and listen to what I would say. He would sleep on my butt and kneed it to get comfortable. He was great.

I love my cat because she lays next to my son while he's sleeping and makes sure he doesn't fall off the bed. If he moves she gets up and moves so she blocks him from the edge.

Since I brought him home he has slept above my head sharing my pillow. Whenever he wants to eat or go outside he comes and tells me, he has a different meow for everything and he especially hates when I yell. He starts howling when I yell, even when I am just trying to get my families attention.

my cat sleeps with me every night, curled up next to my head on my pillow. She'll reach out with her paw & tuck it into my hand, or touch me on the head. She's like a living stuffed animal, only warm & fluffy!

well firstly she just looks adorable and shes the sweetest cat she loves to be cuddled and several times a day jumps up on me and wants to be held and she will go to sleep in my arms :) shes also just beautiful and I tell her constantly I love her and she will rub her head up against me like saying I love you too mummy:)

my cat Jackie, says mama, he was bottle fed from the day he was born, he rides on my back with his paws on each shoulder, i walk around with him on there, he nuzzles up to my neck and lays there for hours, while his paws knead my hair, he loves to be in my hair with his face, if i open the front door he is on one shoulder to see whats going on, he is very spoiled, as are my other 6 cats

My cat puts her paw against the palm of my hand - it's like she's giving me a high-five. And she gives me "kisses" - rubbing her forehead against my cheek.
