Whenever my parents come in to dine with me and my husband, we go for cocktails at the Carlyle Hotel on the UES. They have such a lovely lounge. A piano player every night, and the room is cherry wood and very cozy feeling. My parents always enjoy the entertainment. We usually have dinner across the street at Cafe Boulud.
