what is ur view on religion when dateing a guy?

religion is a view that should be taken into consideration always.
Not as in "Well, he is this, so I'm not going to date him..." But, religion is something that should be tread through carefully, a person should know the religious beliefs, if they are different from yours, so that you know to respect that belief, or so you won't accidently say something insulting.
Does that even make sense? EH, makes sense to me. sorry.

Religion is such a sticky subject! I think as long as you (or the girl you are dating) don't have very passionate or conflicting views, everything should work out.
But if a person is bent on making their partner conform to their views, it will be an endless struggle.
My fiance is Lutheran, and I am a Catholic, and we have had our share of arguments! But it helps to focus on what our religions have in common, instead of bickering about the differences.
Basically, it is not really an issue, unless you make it one.

Personally, I don't care...every one is allowed to believe what they like and if you love them, it should be ok
some agreements must be made. For ex. A jewish man should be able to have his Manura(sp..) and let his wife have a tree or something for christmas.and both should celebrate them for each other
These relationships can work if both people are flexable
with kids...why dont you let the kid decide...they have minds they can use too.

If i am going to have a relationship with him i don't mind about the religion but if i am going to marry him i would care!

Matters to me.
Because:
If we have kids and one parents believe one way and the other believes another way,
How are we supposed to teach our kid, and which religion? Too much arguing forecasted for the future for me.

Well if i am just having fun and not worrying about marriage it would not matter so much, but when i met my husband i was relived to have same beliefs, i personally could not marry someone who did not have similar beliefs to me
