Lina: Be careful in your schedule setting and setting goals that you do not bite off too big a chunk. When we have been depressed its easy to still feel overwhelmed by tasks and even easier to expect ourselves to be able to do it.
If you overall goal is to get a good routine/schedule set up, then start very, very basic...set a time to get up in the morning for instance. Once you have done that for several days, add another task such as...make the bed.
Achieving small goals builds our self-esteem and self-worth and as we achieve them, it becomes easier and easier to set more.
Good luck, it can be done, I promise.

Start small. Really small. As in, set a particular time for yourself to get up in the morning and get up at that time every morning whether you're working or not. And that's your first goal. Once you've accomplished getting up at that time you've accomplished your goals for the day.
Try that for about 2 weeks, and once it becomes routine, then add one more thing, like setting up the coffee pot/tea cup/whatever for the next morning. And then continue to add on as you master each goal and as the weeks progress your goals will become your routine. These are just examples, you can substitute what ever you want, but I would encourage you to start off with only one goal because that way you're not setting yourself up for failure.
Also, if you're having a crappy day and doing your routine is going to make you feel crappier, give yourself a day off and go do something fun, whatever that may be, and then get back on your routine the next day.

If you want to become a better singer, improve your singing voice and are considering an online course I strongly recommend this site:
http://howtosing.toptips.org
I am big fan of this online singing course. You can watch a video more times until you can grasp each concept. Even if the program runs on a 10-day period, you can spend more or less, depending on your own pace. All the guides and tools included in this program are designed by professionals. This means you will learn transitions, changes and voice modification techniques like a pro! It comes with a plethora of exercises, allowing you to improve any aspect of your voice.
It definitely the best alternative to expensive lessons with vocal coaches. Try it and you'll see great results!

well, being strong willed or self disciplined is not the cure for a mental illness.....you wouldn't think of telling some-one with cancer to be more self-disciplined with their cancer....
so far as sticking to a simple schedule, start out by doing the basics: get out of bed, brush your teeth and get dressed....if you are wanting to add new rituals/habits to your routine, then do it slowly-like one new "thing" per day or week, that way you're not overwhelmed....and as for setting goals, try setting small easily accomplished goals daily (like "today i will take out the garbage" or "today i will eat a healthy dinner")...make a list of daily goals, weekly, monthly, and long term goals and post it on your bathroom mirror where you'll see it every day...and "break down" your goals...you'll never become a famous singer (just an example) if you don't figure out the steps to reaching that goal.....for example on your goal list if your long term goal was to become a singer, it might look like this:
daily:
call around for singing lessons
weekly:
go to singing lessons every thursday
monthly:
sing with the church choir
long term:
find an agent to help set up jobs
....as you can see when we think of "becoming a famous singer" it seems impossible or out of reach, but if all you have to do today is "call about lessons", well that is easily attainable and your'e already doing something to reach your goal!!
good luck!! you can do it!!

You're making a good start. But depression is an illness, and you are ill. Take your time about getting started - don't be in a rush.
Remember antidepressants not only take a week or two to get started working, but they only reach their full effect after several more weeks.
Good luck.

Are you still on anti-depressants? Then it should be easier for you. If you're incapable to sticking to a simple schedule of set goals, you're still depressed...

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/rgp6h an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.
