Hi I'm currently driving a Sonata with the rounded head light.. some people said looks like jaguar and some said like Benz... I have this car with me for 3yrs and I got it brand new. I have not experience any problem with this car and even the petrol comsumption is of the same to my Mit. Lancer...
Infacts if you have noticed Hyundai was ranked 2nd in year 2004 or 2005... Just look back Hyundai is a directly imported car from Korea.. Nowaday when we talk about cars , Honda, Toyota or most Jap. car... where they come from... Thailand... so where is the Jap. comes into the picture? Is only the name.
Infact I have drove 6 cars and i have 4 hyundai cars and the other 2 is a Jap car. Afterall I still prefer Hyundai cost the price is lower ... stable, nice, spacious, good service.
Lastly what I wan to say is that 90% also depend on the owner the way he drive the way he maintain it. if the owner is those don't bother kind, even he drive the best car in the world it will not last long also... Cheers

Definitely consider it. The 4 cylinder gets the best gas mileage in its size class in the country. If you want the V6, you still get 20 MPG city and 30 MPG highway with 234 HP. They have more standard safety features than many cars, including 6 airbags, ABS and Electronic Stability Control. The warranty is hands down the best in the country with 100,000 miles on the powertrain, 60,000 miles bumper to bumper and 5 years of roadside assistance all included.

a lot of people might advise against it, but Hyundai has come a long way
look at it like this
1) the warranty can't be beat
2) they cost less than other cars in their class
3) Hyundai is now rated as the number 3 most reliable car manufacturer behind only Porsche and Lexus (can't beat that for the price)
As long as you like how they look, feel and drive, I'd say go for it

If money not a serious issue, forget about Sonota. Go for the new Toyota Camry, Honda Civic, Madza 6......
