Thank you.

In class, good manners will ALWAYS take precedence over rules.

When you sneeze, usually someone will say, "Bless You!" or "God Bless You!" or "Guzhuntite!" Just say "Thank you!" when you are done, and you really shouldn't be worried about class quiet. They really shouldn't get you in trouble for that.... take it up with your parents if you do get in trouble.

Also, a little-known fact: When you sneeze, your heart stops. Isn't that interesting? That is why people usually say, "God Bless You!" because you are still alive!

The simplest one is the more elegant:

Thank you!

You may say "Excuse me" at the right moment you sneeze if that interrupts a conversation or meeting or if you have the flu.

thank you is always good!
if you are in class and supposed to be quiet, but you sneeze and they said "bless you" then the silence is already broken, you might as well say thank you!

Ask,"Does anyone have a hanky for this immense snott rocket that just propelled from my nostril?" Actually, I just say Thank you. Sneezing in class isn't all that bad, especially since you can't really help it.

I ignore the "bless you" because my soul has not left my body.
I will say excuse me .......(for distributing germs ).....
If you're supposed to be quiet in class....then do just that !

Generally it is thank you, so just nod and smile and give the person a thumbs up and thank them AFTER the class.
