If you have a slight infection or are just getting the infection you can show without knowing. Get treated now and start drinking plenty of water, cranberry juice and orange juice. These will make you pee and will help clear the infection sooner. They should give you a simple antibiotic to clear the infection.

If you let it progress, then you may have to get swabbed for a culture and you really don't want that. I had it done and well when you see how large the tip of the swab is and look at how small the hole is where it will go, you see why you don't want that. I almost punched the doctor when I had that done and it was worse than when I had a spiral fracture of my tibia and fibula.

there are a lot of sickness you could have and never know you have them. Maybe your body fights off infection better than others. or maybe they caught it at the first sign of infection which would cause you to not feel much discomfort.

It can happen. A slight infection can be there and you not notice it. Hopefully they treated the infection--trust me, you don't want to know that you have one--it is extremely unpleasant and can be painful.

This is possible, could be the infection was just starting. I hope you were prescribed anti-biotics.
