Here's what I do. This is enough for two ~14" pizzas

1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 Tbs oregano
1 tsp basil
salt & pepper
olive oil

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat 1 tsp olive oil - add minced garlic and saute for 30-60 seconds - just enough time to release some of the garlic flavor.
2. Add the tomato products, stir together, and heat to a near-simmer.
3. Add the spices, cook for 2 mins, and turn-off the heat.
4. Let sit on the stove until cooled to room temp.
5. Spread on pizza.

Duuuude, if you like the more classic 'pizza parlour' stuff, Papa John's all the way! Their classic crust has an extra differently flavorful taste and texture that exceeds the crusts of the other mentioned pizza joints. And they also give you a garlic butter dipping sauce, too, which is downright delicious paired with the crust. If you're a fan of choices, choices, choices and more choices of a more modern flavor, I'd try Round Table Pizza (if you guys have it) or Pizza Hut. But my vote is Papa John's and Round Table!

I think they use roma tomatoes, maui onions, green onions and pineapples rings. It is known as Maui Pizza . Check here to see the recipe- I think it is this anyway, not sure.
