Chamomile Tea will help stop many bugs in the gut. It's the cure for Montezuma revenge (what happens when you drink bad water when traveling). I've used it on my son since he was an infant - just a couple of tablespoons in a bottle of water. It stops the vomiting in about half an hour and diarrhea in about an hour. It doesn't work for all the bugs you can get in your gut but you'll know right away if it does. Washing his hands more often and always before eating will help some.

Boy can I sympathize! My 2 1/2 year old is on her second dose of this stupid stomach flu in the past month. I just got over my second bout on Monday and to top things off I am 31 weeks pregnant so that adds a lot to the mix.
So far I haven't gotten it back a third time but I think that's because I've been drinking lots of water and washing my hands until they're literally raw. We may have caught two different strains of the virus so hopefully we're in the clear.

The only things that prevent the flu are
(1) a flu shot -- if you get the right one that prevents the one you got exposed to-- but I don't think that they actually target stomach viruses, but the "real" flu, which is more of a respiratory disease
(2) good hygeine (which is more a product of wash your hands before meals, don't sneeze into your hands and then touch stuff, etc.). That has to be practiced by everyone...which is pretty tough if he's in preschool or daycare with other children.
(3) a good immune system -- keep him stocked up on Vitamin C, children's vitamins, get a good night's sleep, etc.
Good luck

Is the bathroom the only place you're sterilizing? If so, that's one big key right there. The bathroom isn't the only place he's been. Also, he needs to be drinking a lot of water. (I'm an advocate for drinking tons of water!) Lysol is not a half bad thing to have around the house. Just go around spraying everything you can. Also, make sure HE is washing his hands with anti-bacterial soap every chance he gets. Think of it this way...everything he touches, you're probably touching. You just give it back and forth to one another.

Your body isn't interior the finest of well being, and also you want to have your generic practitioner help you. E.R. is continually waiting for you, as well.

Is he getting it from a daycare center? If you work and send him to daycare, they might not be sterilizing their toys. Make sure that they sterilize all the toys in the room daily. Otherwise your child will continue to get sick.

are you sure its the stomach bug again? i was always informed that when a child gets sick they can't get the same illness again for a couple months because their immune system is so hyped up it will fight the germs before they have time to get them sick again.
