My coworker is retiring in a couple of weeks and I want to get him something nice, he has been here for 30 + years. He likes golfing, and playing poker (from what I know) as well he's retiring cause his daughter is having a baby soon too......Im not into golf so much but what would be a good present for a Golfer???

how about a golf get away go in with your co-workers and get him one i know if you are in the chicago area there is many that has a cabin that also includes golf

A great retirement gift for an avid golfer is a season package to a golf course. If you can go in with several coworkers, this is a great gift. It's usually several hundred dollars, but allows the golfer to play unlimited golf at the course throughout the season. It's a gift that keeps on giving, and one that would really be appreciated. Just call the golf shop at the course and ask how much for a season pass. (If he's old enough, there might be a discount for senior citizens for the season pass.) How abut a gift certificate to a sporting goods store? He could pick out what he needs or wants in the way of golf equipment or clothing.
If you know where he plays golf, you could contact them and see if they have gift certifciates for free rounds of golf. A gift certificate to a nice restaurant is always a good gift for anyone for any occasion.

If he likes poker, there are a lot of nice chip sets out there that he may like. You can find them at Walmart or Ebay...etc.... My wife got me one and I get a lot of use out of it.
