I am looking to take the FE Exam in the spring and the website is telling me to contact a board that represents my state, but it doesn't tell who exactly to contact or what to say to them. It really frustrates me more so that my teachers can't even tell me what to do.

Go to the NCEES website. I've provide a link under sources that will allow you to choose your state and then provides you with all the contact information you need. The state board will tell you how much it costs, where it'll be held, and all the relevant information. Good luck, that test is hellish.

Do you mean the PE exam? Is so go to the www.(yourstate).gov and look for boards that liscense. Then go the the board that you are interested in and write, email, or phone them. You should also be able to go to the library and find information on liscencing. Or ask any PE in your state. Information should be on the liscense certificate.
