i think white and silver are the most 'winteresque' colors that would work in the summer months. rhinstone or crystal accents on dresses, bouquets, table settings etc. would add an icey shimmer too. your bouquet or floral arrangements at the tables could have white poinsettas, but they would probably be hard to find since they'll be out of season at the time. white christmas lights add a classy touch any time of the year if they're put up right. i'd say concentrate more on white, shimmery colors and the lighting.

Ok why would you have a winter theme in June when all those beautiful flowers are out?

I supposed you could have a winter white theme and have ice sculptures, although if it's warm they're going to melt. Have white and silver or white and gold decor, a white and gold or yellow wedding cake, maybe have little skaters on top or little skiiers instead of the traditional bride and groom.

You could put your bridesmaids and maid/matron of honour in iced shades of green, sage for example or blue with silver or gold ribbons on their bouquets. Have flowers are that blue tinged if you go with blue dresses.

Serve things like baked alaska, poached salmon or have a complete turkey dinner like Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Maybe you and your beloved could skate down to the priest or minister and hold your wedding in a hockey arena and instead of a wedding dress , wear the shirt or colours of your favourite nhl team.

It's your day you DO what you want. I'm sure it'll be memorable. Good luck and congratulations.

If you wanted a winter-themed reception, why didn't you plan your wedding for the winter? Think of how people will be in summer clothes, and sitting among fake snowflakes.

Use colors like Tiffany blue and Silver or Apple Red and Gold. Use white christmas lights to decorate the reception site. You can use square mirrors and votive candles in the wedding colors you chose as the centerpieces. You could give mini snowglobes as favors or find plain Christmas ornaments and decorate and write your names and wedding date on them. Here are some pics and ideas for inspiration:

Depends what your favourite colours are, but I also think of dark reds as being wintery. Burgundy red and silver/white would go together really nice, and look smart. Snow/smoke machine would be fun?

Snowy? Make things white and glittery, with white flowers, silver accents, pale blue or pinks. Make everything white and icy
