Yep! I have a good recipe for Chicken Kiev made with Cornflakes! Put the cornflakes in a sandwich bag and crush the flakes, dip the chicken tenders in milk and roll in the cornflakes and bake!

Ive done it and it does work. I would suggest crushing the cornflakes first, though. Not to the point where its a powder, but the pieces should be fairly small.

You will want to dip the tenders in some sort of egg wash first. You could use eggs, egg whites or even just an egg substitute. This will help the cornflakes stick.

Buffalo Tenders: 1 (28-ounce) package crispy chicken strips 2 (0.7-ounce) envelopes Italian salad dressing mix, divided 1/2 cup butter, melted 1/2 to 3/4 cup hot sauce 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon dried basil Ranch dressing Place 1 package salad dressing mix in a large zip-top plastic bag; add chicken strips, and shake to coat. Place tenders on a lightly greased rack in a broiler pan. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes or until browned. Stir together remaining package of salad dressing mix, butter, and next 3 ingredients. Yes, they work well. Crush cornflakes, add a little seasoning, ( salt, pepper, poultry seasoning), dip chicken in flour, egg and cornflakes. You need the flour to make the egg stick, the egg to make the crumbs stick.

Bon Appetite.

I have done this and it works well as long as you can get it to stick. This is how i do it. Flour, egg, crushed corn flakes, then I drizzle them with some canola oil then bake them. Frying them may cause the cornflakes to fall off. I have also used sour cream and onion chips, yummy.

Sure. Make sure, however to crush the flakes until they are the same crumb size as bread crumbs. They may alter the flavor a little bit, but not for the worse - just different. Otherwise, you can use them as a subsitution (in crumb form) for almost anything for which you would use bread crumbs.

Yeah you can. Just grind up the corn flakes really well. They'll stick to the chicken better.

Just FYI - chips work too. I've used BBQ chips before. Usually, I grind up tortilla chips and serve the tenders with salsa. YUMMY!!!

yes you can, but I prefer to use crushed taco shells. It will give your chicken a better flavor. Dip chicken in milk, then roll in the crushed taco shells. Then dip chicken in beaten egg and roll again in crushed taco shell.
You can then bake or pan fry.
If you use corn flakes, this method will also work well.

Crush them up and make sure the chicken is damp with something like olive oil of even milk, and coat the bird!! Works well... but make sure the flakes are well crushed.
